Food Review - Vindu, Jayanagar

This andhra food joint has been in Jayanagar for the last couple of years but has not become too popular, maybe because it's located on the 1st floor.
The place is very neat and clean, a simple unpretentious restaurant with no ambiance to speak of.
The food menu is elaborate in terms of south indian meal and side dish offerings.

We tried the tawa fish, chicken 65 and chicken curry all of which tasted fine, a bit bland for andhra cuisine and that was surprising. The dosa with mutton curry turned out to be quite average as the curry had more of bones and very little meat.
The biryani and meals were also rather ordinary and not in comparison with their more established rivals.

Service is generally good and staff is very sincere.
The dining area also doubles up as a small party hall when not occupied and the positive being they serve alcohol as well.
If you are looking for a simple outing for a decent meal, this would not be a bad option as it's not heavy on the pocket.
I also read about this sunday breakfast buffet which they have started. Would love to try it sometime.
